Real Madrid’s Ancelotti Frustrated with Brahim Diaz’s Performance Against Las Palmas

Carlo Ancelotti is angry with Brahim Diaz. The Italian coach of Real Madrid blames the Moroccan international for not having given his best during the match against Las Palmas (1-1).
Ancelotti seems to regret having started Brahim Diaz for this match, to the detriment of Rodrygo. The Italian coach, looking for a win after the draw against Mallorca (1-1), decided to give a chance to the Atlas Lion who, unfortunately, did not meet his expectations. In the first half against Las Palmas, the young striker was transparent and was unable to make a difference.
Very disappointed by his performance during this first half where Real Madrid was trailing 1-0, Ancelotti did not hesitate to replace him with Rodrygo after the break. The Brazilian was more active and enterprising and gave the opposing defense cold sweats, even though he did not manage to score a goal and give Real Madrid the victory, which finally conceded a draw.
For some observers, Diaz has just missed an opportunity to show that he deserves his place with the Merengues. With the tough competition in attack with stars like Mbappé, Vinicius and Rodrygo, Brahim Díaz could have seized this chance to make a good impression and remain in Ancelotti’s plans. But with this disappointing performance against Las Palmas, the Moroccan international risks spending more time on the bench.
Brahim Diaz has failed to win Ancelotti’s trust and could become unwanted in the Madrid club. In any case, the Italian technician has made it more than clear: only players up to the club’s standards and capable of making a difference will have their place in the team.
