Real Madrid's Brahim Díaz Vows Stronger Return from Two-Month Injury Setback

The Moroccan striker of Real Madrid, Brahim Díaz, is slowly recovering from his injury that will keep him off the pitch for two to three months. The Atlas Lion has assured that he is doing his best to return in full form and "even stronger".

Speaking at the Forbes 30 under 30 Forum held on Friday in the auditorium of the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid, Diaz expressed his impatience to resume training and matches. "Every day that passes is one day less to come back and I’m going to try to come back even stronger than I was," said the Madrid striker, in front of a room filled with young people.

During this interview with Forbes Deputy Editor-in-Chief Daniel Entrialgo, the native of Malaga discussed the difficulty of accepting this long absence from the pitch. "It’s the worst part of football, injuries. It’s hard... In my case, it forces you to stop and not be in your passion, to miss the matches at the Bernabéu, the away matches... But as I said, I’m going to try to come back stronger."

According to Marca, Real Madrid will suffer from the absence of the Moroccan international who was in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans before his injury. This season, the Atlas Lion has scored a goal and provided an assist in five games. Diaz also shone with the Moroccan team in the matches counting for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) qualifiers in Morocco and is even one of the favorites for the next African Ballon d’Or.

The 25-year-old player is showing an effective complicity with Mbappé this season, just as he did with Jude Bellingham last season. "Being in the best club in the world puts maximum pressure on you. And pressure is a good thing, because it means you have no limits and a lot is expected of you," said Diaz, who wants to be a "leader" for his teammates.
