Real Estate Scandal: Unauthorized Bar Near Rabat Demolished by Authorities

A new real estate scandal in Harhoura, near Rabat. A bar located in the city was recently demolished by the local authorities. The developer is accused of having illegally built his establishment on public land, with the complicity of certain local officials.
The fight against anarchic constructions continues in the prefecture of Skhirat-Témara. After the real estate scandal broke out, the various inspections carried out in the cities led to the discovery of several violations of urban planning rules and offenses of lack of authorization, reports Al Akhbar.
This is the case of a bar illegally built on public land a few meters from the town hall headquarters by an influential person in Harhoura. The latter would have benefited from the complicity of certain local officials, who even attended the inauguration of his establishment, the newspaper points out.
Based on the reports of the inspection commissions, the local authorities finally decided to demolish it. They rushed to repress the offenses, draw up official reports against the perpetrators of illegal projects and demolish the premises built in violation of urban planning rules, indicates the same source. Thus, an operation conducted by the caïd of the second district resulted in the demolition of an anarchic construction comprising three bars, it is specified.
