Developer in Témara Real Estate Scandal Linked to New Harhoura Project Irregularities

Already accused in the scandal of the Témara real estate complex, a real estate developer finds himself at the heart of another case in Harhoura. This is what the investigation conducted by the general inspection of the Ministry of the Interior on the real estate scandal of Témara reveals.
The investigation into the real estate scandal in Témara has allowed the general inspection of the Ministry of the Interior to uncover serious dysfunctions in another real estate project of 60 apartments and 20 bungalows belonging to a notable in the region. The implementation of this project has been entrusted to the same company accused in the scandal of the Témara real estate complex, which is in charge of the construction work, reports the Arabic daily Al Akhbar. This discovery has prompted the department of Abdelouafi Laftit to stop the work on this project.
Then begin hearings focused mainly on the procedural violations noted in the issuance of the building permit for this real estate project located on the Harhoura beach. The caïd of the district, an engineer, a head of the urban planning department and a technician were questioned as part of this case. Also, the inspectors of the territorial administration and the BNPJ of Casablanca conducted investigations on a former secretary general of the prefecture, pashas, agents and auxiliary authorities as well as officials, technicians and individuals.
The general inspection of the Ministry of the Interior also intends to carry out expanded controls on all the projects of this real estate developer in the various municipalities of the prefecture of Skhirat-Témara.
