Rapper’s Brother Arrested in Violent Stabbing Spree at Festival

The incident occurred on Saturday night into Sunday, when Morad’s brother allegedly pulled out a knife and assaulted three teenagers during an argument, causing them more or less serious injuries. The minors were taken to the hospital to receive appropriate care. Their vital prognosis is not engaged, reports La Razon.

The rapid intervention of the local police and the Mossos d’Esquadra allowed the alleged aggressor to be identified and arrested a few hours after the incident. Known to the police for having been involved in similar incidents, the defendant and brother of the Moroccan-origin rapper was transferred to the police station, pending his trial.

The case has caused a stir in the media due to the proximity of the defendant to Morad, one of the most influential urban artists in Spain. The investigation is ongoing to determine the causes of the altercation and the responsibility of the defendant.

At the end of 2024, Morad was sentenced to a suspended two-year prison sentence and a fine of 180 euros for assaulting Mossos d’Esquadra in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) after violating the night curfew in July 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
