Rabat University Plans $110 Million Multidisciplinary Hospital Project

As part of the development of its College of Health Sciences, the International University of Rabat (UIR) has planned the creation of a new multidisciplinary hospital.
Called the "International Hospital of Rabat", the future company will have a share capital of 300 million dirhams and will be under the aegis of "Foncière UIR", a subsidiary of the University.
The new hospital center will be built on an area of 4.8 hectares and will require an investment of 624 million dirhams. 58% of this amount should be financed through a bond issue.
The total cost of the project is estimated at more than 1.1 billion dirhams, which will be financed 46% by leasing credit and 14% by bank loans. The entity’s turnover should increase from 105 million dirhams in 2025 to 824 million by 2042.
