Rabat-Salé Airport Expansion to Quadruple Passenger Capacity by 2040

Rabat-Salé Airport will soon have a new terminal and new equipment. The ongoing work aims to increase the capacity of the airport platform from the current 1.5 million passengers to 4 million by 2040.
The new terminal of Rabat-Salé Airport will be built on an area of about 69,000 square meters. The ongoing work also includes the extension of the aircraft parking area and 6 additional stations, the development of connecting roads with the runway and a two-level parking lot with a capacity of 1300 cars.
This new terminal will include a hall, a room for passenger and baggage check-in formalities, a space for access controls, a baggage claim area, an area dedicated to passport control upon arrival, and two corridors for customs controls upon arrival.
The new terminal will also have 6 telescopic bridges for boarding and disembarking aircraft, a commercial area designed according to the new "walk-through" design, as well as spaces for catering and leisure services.
