A video showing the royal procession letting a pedestrian pass on a crosswalk has gone viral on social media this weekend.
The sequence, filmed on the Rabat corniche, shows the royal procession coming to a halt to allow a man to cross the road.
In the images, we see the SUV stopping abruptly at the pedestrian crossing. "A great example of respect for the Highway Code and citizens," comments a Facebook user. "It’s good to see that even the top officials respect the rules," adds another.
It should be noted that King Mohammed VI regularly takes a stroll in the capital after the end of each religious talk and just before the call to prayer of the Maghrib.
