King Mohammed VI Spotted in Luxury Boat Procession off Ceuta Coast

An impressive maritime procession composed of jet skis, a luxury sailboat, a yacht and several inflatable boats was observed off Sebta on Sunday around 5:00 pm. Although no official confirmation has been given, many elements suggest that King Mohammed VI was on board one of the vessels.
Unofficial sources cited by El Faro de Ceuta have indeed confirmed the presence of the Moroccan sovereign, and residents of the neighborhood have stated that they recognized the boats usually used by the king.
This is not the first time that King Mohammed VI has been spotted near the waters of Ceuta. Similar observations were reported in 2017 near Benzú, and in 2020, a video of the Moroccan sovereign and his escort in the bay had been widely circulated. The previous year, he had also been filmed off Santa Catalina. An incident involving the Spanish Civil Guard and the King of Morocco had also nearly caused a diplomatic incident in 2014.
A witness stated that he had observed the ballet of the security boats in recent days: "They have been approaching with the whole fleet for several days." He also claimed to have seen the Moroccan Gendarmerie push back the boats that came too close to the royal procession.
