Moroccan Royal Yacht Spotted Near Spanish Enclave of Ceuta, Sparks Speculation

A convoy consisting of a yacht, several jet skis, and an inflatable boat crossed the entire southern bay of Ceuta on Monday before returning to Morocco, raising questions from many onlookers wondering if it was King Mohammed VI.
Could Mohammed VI have been cruising on a boat in the southern bay of Ceuta, in the Recinto area? This is the question several passersby asked themselves as they stopped on Monday afternoon to observe or record with their phones the passage of a yacht, escorted by several jet skis and an inflatable boat for protection. This convoy crossed the entire southern bay before returning to Morocco, reports El Faro de Ceuta.
The King of Morocco or a member of the Moroccan royal family, particularly Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, was on this vessel, it is noted, recalling that every summer, this movement is observed in this region, around Monte Hacho or Benzú. Several media outlets had also published images of the Alaouite monarch on a jet ski during his summer holidays in the north of the country.
The King of Morocco’s boat had been spotted in 2020, not far from the swimmers’ area. In subsequent years, the presence of the vessel had also been recorded in areas such as Santa Catalina or the Recinto. In 2014, Mohammed VI’s boat had been identified in Spanish waters by the Civil Guard of Ceuta, causing a conflict between the two countries and even internationally.
