King Mohammed VI visited Casablanca where he is expected to spend the rest of the month of Ramadan, which began on March 12 in Morocco.
On Sunday evening, King Mohammed VI was seen walking the streets of Casablanca, before the time of breaking the fast (iftar). He was accompanied by the royal chamberlain, Cherif Sidi Mohammed Alaoui, and other bodyguards, and his adviser Fouad Ali El Himma. In a video, we can see the sovereign greeting passers-by.
King Mohammed VI arrived in Casablanca last Friday. He is expected to spend the rest of the Ramadan month there and should proceed with the inauguration of many projects and the launch of others. Before his arrival, intensive paving, asphalting, and beautification work was undertaken in Dar Bouazza, the prefecture of the Nouaceur province, up to the commune of Lamharza Essahel, in the prefecture of the El Jadida province.
The local authorities, accompanied by the administrative authorities and the municipal agents, as well as members of the auxiliary forces, carried out a large-scale campaign to clear the public domain and proceed with the cleaning along the coastal road, which connects Casablanca to Azemmour, and the coastal strip of the Atlantic Ocean.
