Qatar’s Sheikha Moza Arrives in Marrakech for Private Visit

Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al-Missned, wife of the former Emir of Qatar and mother of the current Emir, has arrived in Marrakech for a private stay.
Upon her arrival in the ochre city, she went to the Palmeraie, where her husband’s residence is located.
This is not the first time that Sheikha Moza has set foot in Marrakech, a city that welcomes many stars and heads of state throughout the year.
This week, it was former French President Nicolas Sarkozy who was spotted in Marrakech with his wife, former top model and singer Carla Bruni.
The current Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, also visits Morocco very often, particularly in the Errachidia region where he indulges in one of his passions, hunting.
