PSG Star Achraf Hakimi Spotted Driving Moroccan Olympic Team Bus in Paris
Achraf Hakimi, captain of the Atlas Lions, was reportedly seen on Thursday driving the bus transporting the Olympic team through the streets of Paris. The Paris Saint-Germain right-back and his teammates lost 2-1 to Ukraine on Saturday.
A video shared on social media on Thursday shows the Moroccan international (or someone strongly resembling him), looking amused, at the wheel of the Moroccan Olympic team’s bus in the streets of Paris.
For some, the Moroccan defender of PSG would have been chosen to drive this bus for two reasons: his perfect knowledge of Paris, his current city of residence, and his French driver’s license. Others believe it could simply be a joke from the captain of the Atlas Lions.
After their victory over Argentina (2-1) on Wednesday in the first round, Morocco lost 2-1 to Ukraine on Saturday at the Geoffroy Guichard stadium in Saint-Étienne. The Atlas Lions will face the Iraqi team next Tuesday at the Allianz Riviera stadium in Nice.
