PSG Coach Galtier Praises Hakimi’s World Cup Performance, Expects Strong Second Half

Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier praised the good performances of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi during the 2022 Qatar World Cup. He says he is also satisfied with his first part of the season with the Parisians.
Christophe Galtier is full of praise for Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi. "He had a very good World Cup, but also a very good first half of the season during which he adapted to different systems. He has sometimes been very decisive. He is a player I count on a lot, I am satisfied with his first half of the season," the PSG coach said in an interview with Le Parisien after a press conference.
And to add: "I watched his performances with the national team carefully. He knows and I know that he can do even better. He has his head in the competition. I’m sure we’ll have a very high-level Achraf in the second half."
February will be an intense month for PSG. It will be the start of a marathon: a new series of matches every three days, seven games in a row until February 19 with Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, not to mention the Champions League first leg match.
