Prominent Moroccan Actress and Award-Winning Director Arrested in Adultery Scandal

A story of loose morals has been shaking the metropolis since last Sunday, July 7. Indeed, a famous Moroccan actress and a director, not the least, were caught in flagrante delicto of adultery, in an apartment in Casablanca.
According to the Arabic-language daily Assabah, it is a famous actress who has played in dozens of Moroccan series and films, very popular with the public, and a director who has also made his mark, having won several awards in festivals, both nationally and internationally.
The two figures of Moroccan cinema were arrested last Sunday by the Judicial Police of Anfa, in flagrante delicto of adultery. Indeed, details the newspaper, "the arrest of the actress and the director occurred following a complaint filed by the first’s husband".
To come back to the facts, the husband, who had suspected his wife of adultery since he settled in the United States, decided to have her monitored. Curiously, his doubts were confirmed on Sunday evening. That’s how he contacted the police, to whom he communicated the information concerning the place where his wife was meeting her lover.
Immediately, this information was transmitted to the Public Prosecutor, who wasted no time in issuing a warrant with which the Judicial Police elements burst onto the scene. The actress and the director were indeed in an apartment located in the Gauthier district. The agents proceeded to arrest them.
The same source specifies that the Scientific Police carried out a thorough search of the bedroom and took samples. In addition, the two accused were questioned by the Judicial Police elements, before being placed in custody on the orders of the Public Prosecutor.
