Moroccan Actress and Director Arrested in Casablanca Adultery Scandal

The case has been shocking the web since Sunday evening, July 7th. And since then, many observers and Internet users have been wondering about the identity of the persons involved.

It is a story that has been badly experienced by the husband of actress Najate El Ouafi (since it is she) who, from the United States where he is settled, had his wife and her lover followed.

The latter is none other than director Saïd Khalaf, also well known to the general public, for having participated in several major festivals and having won important distinctions.

The daily Assabah, which revealed this affair in its issue of Tuesday, July 9, 2019, indicates that these two figures of the Moroccan 7th art were arrested on the Sunday in question by the Judicial Police of Anfa, in flagrante delicto of adultery. "The arrest of the actress and the director occurred following a complaint filed by the first’s husband," the newspaper reports.

Pending new developments in this case, it should be noted that the two accused were questioned by the Judicial Police elements, before being placed in custody on the orders of the King’s Prosecutor.
