Private Jet Crash at Fez Airport Injures Four, Investigation Launched

An incident involving a Hawker XP800 aircraft occurred on Friday at 4:10 PM, near Fez-Saïss airport, according to the Ministry of Transport and Logistics. The aircraft, registered CN-TKC and operated by Air Ocean airline, was on a flight from Marrakech.
During the landing phase at Fez-Saïss airport, the plane deviated from the runway. It then hit an airport fence. The crash caused significant material damage to the aircraft.
The human toll reports four injured: the three crew members who were on board and one person on the ground at the time of impact. According to the ministry’s statement, the injured were immediately taken care of and transported to a clinic to receive necessary treatment.
Following this event, a technical investigation was opened by the competent authorities. In accordance with current procedures, the Bureau of Investigations and Analysis for Civil Aviation Accidents, which depends on the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, dispatched a team of technical investigators to the accident site. Their objective is to conduct the required investigations to determine the exact causes and circumstances of the incident.
The ministry stated that all necessary measures are being taken to elucidate the facts and ensure air transport safety. More information will be communicated later, as the technical investigation progresses, it is promised.
It was also specified that this incident had no impact on air traffic or on the normal operation of Fez-Saïss airport.
