EasyJet Flight Diverted to Madrid After Passenger Turns Violent Mid-Air

An EasyJet plane traveling from London to Marrakech had to make an emergency landing in Madrid due to the aggressive behavior of a passenger on board the flight.
An unusual aerial incident occurred on Saturday night into Sunday. An EasyJet plane supposed to connect London to Marrakech had to be urgently diverted to Madrid-Barajas airport. The reason? The plane’s crew reported to the air traffic control tower the presence of a "violent" passenger on board. Measures were quickly taken to ensure the safety of passengers and crew: the emergency protocol was activated. The aircraft was authorized to land on runway 32L. The flight plan was then adjusted to reduce arrival time.
The landing went smoothly. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew. Upon landing, police were waiting for the plane and took charge of the passenger responsible for the disturbance in accordance with current procedures.
