Pilot Bitten by Stowaway Tarantula During Madrid-Bound Flight

Big scare mid-flight. A tarantula bit a pilot of Iberia allergic to spiders during a flight between Düsseldorf and Madrid on Saturday. Despite this incident, the flight proceeded without incident.
The pilot allergic to spiders was bitten by a tarantula mid-flight. The crew administered emergency treatment provided in the aircraft’s first aid kit to prevent any allergic reaction on his part, reports La Vanguardia.
Despite this scare, the flight went well. According to the latest news, the pilot is doing well and is out of danger, said the airline, which reassures that the plane was disinfected after landing at Madrid’s Barajas airport.
Passengers were unaware of the incident that occurred in mid-air. According to the information gathered, the tarantula would have boarded the plane on Tuesday during a stopover in Casablanca, Morocco.
