Pope’s Morocco Visit Prompts Postponement of Weekend Soccer Matches

The 23rd round of Botola 1 and D2 will be postponed and will not take place this weekend. The reason is the visit of the Pope scheduled in Casablanca and Rabat on March 30 and 31.
Next Saturday and Sunday, football fans will be deprived of Botola matches, first and second division. Assabah specifies that this has to do with the Pope’s visit to the Kingdom. Because of the supporters?
However, it should be noted that only the cities of Casablanca and Rabat are concerned by the visit of the sovereign pontiff Francis I. This initiative to postpone Botola 1 and Botola D2 could certainly have only concerned a few matches.
Immediately after the Pope’s departure on Monday, the 23rd round will resume. Eight matches will be played in 3 days for the first division. For Monday, we will have at 3pm Wydad de Casablanca-Chabab Al Hoceima and then at 6pm the match of RSB against OCK.
On Tuesday, 4 matches will be played: Youssoufia de Berrechid will face Mouloudia d’Oujda at home at 4pm, OCS VS HUSA will take place at 6pm, at 7pm Fath de Rabat against DHJ and finally, Rapide Oued Zem against Moghreb de Tétouan, at 8pm.
On Wednesday, there will be the 2 remaining matches, IRT against AS FAR at 4pm and RCA-KACM at 6pm.
