Police Raid Illegal Gambling Ring in Tangier, Morocco; 20 Arrested

These arrests took place in the Malabata neighborhood, specifically in two apartments converted by their owners into gambling spaces. According to a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), the elements of the Tangier police prefecture, who had precise information, went to the premises and immediately arrested the owners of these apartments, the managers and several clients.

A search of the premises allowed the seizure of tables and equipment used in these games, as well as sums of money suspected of coming from this activity, it is noted.

The same DGSN press release indicates that the Tangier police prefecture elements had carried out surveillance operations based on information provided by the services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
