Police Officer Found Dead in Nador, Morocco; Authorities Investigate Possible Suicide

In Nador, the death under still unclear circumstances of a police sergeant has prompted the opening of a judicial investigation on Saturday to determine the causes. The deceased was serving at the provincial security district, and his lifeless body was found at his home bearing the traces of a bullet fired from his service weapon.
Suicide or execution? At this stage of the investigation, the thesis of suicide is the most agitated by the National Security services, due to the circumstances and the place of the discovery of the body of the deceased. The body of the sergeant was found inside his home in Beni Nsar, and the nature of the injury caused by the shot join this thesis, indicates a press release from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).
Nevertheless, technical sweeping operations are being carried out at the scene of the tragedy in order to collect the clues and material evidence to elucidate the circumstances of this death, adds the DGSN, specifying that the investigation continues regarding the social and professional situation of the deceased.
