The Polish embassy in Morocco has denied the imminent opening of a general consulate in Laâyoune. This statement follows a press article published a few days ago.
It is on social networks that the embassy chose to deny the rumors that Poland intended to open a general consulate in Laâyoune.
"Poland and Morocco maintain very good friendly and mutual relations in all possible areas. However, the information about the establishment of a Polish general consulate in Laâyoune, Western Sahara, is fake news," the diplomatic representation wrote on its Twitter account.
