PJD Leader Warns Algeria: Morocco Will Prevail in Potential Conflict

The Secretary General of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD), Abdelilah Benkirane advises Algeria to stop attacking Morocco, because if there is a war, it will not be able to win it.
"For 45 years, you have devoted [the money] from oil to attacking Morocco. This is an injustice, I advise you, to return to wisdom and to God," he addressed the Algerian leaders during an intervention before the members of the National Commission and the members of the general secretariat of the party. "If there is a war, we are with our country and our king (and) you will not win the war," he assured, warning these military men that Morocco was not easy and that its revenge was not either.
Regarding the relations between Morocco and Israel, the former head of government affirmed that they were "ancient". "We will not condemn our country. We are on the side of our king and our country, period," he said, reminding the "brothers of the Mashreq (Middle East) that Morocco will never abandon the Palestinian cause." "According to him, it is a doctrinal cause, because Moroccans and Palestinians have always been "equal and brothers, united in happiness and sorrow [...] and King Mohammed VI has always supported the Palestinian cause".
As an example, Abdelillah Benkirane recalled one of the actions taken in favor of Palestine: Morocco was the first and only country in the Arab world to have created, during the reign of the late King Hassan II, a tax on tobacco and cinema for the benefit of the Palestinian cause.
