Former Moroccan PM Abdelilah Benkirane’s Sister-in-Law Dies After Long Illness

Abdelilah Benkirane, secretary general of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD), has just lost his sister-in-law, following a long illness.
Soumaya Benkirane, the daughter of the former head of government, posted a message on her Facebook page to announce the sad news. "My dear aunt Malika, mother of my sister Imane Fahdi, is no more. We belong to God and to Him we return. May God give you the strength and patience to overcome this terrible ordeal," she wrote.
The health of the Secretary General of the Party of Justice and Development (PJD), Abdelilah Benkirane, deteriorated last week. On Tuesday, he was transferred late at night to the military hospital in Rabat due to complications related to his Covid-19 infection.
