Pioneering Moroccan Actor El Mahjoub Erraji Dies at 83

El Mahjoub Erraji, one of the pioneers of Moroccan theater and cinema, died yesterday, following a long illness.
According to the testimonies of the artist’s colleagues and friends disseminated on social networks, El Mahjoub Erraji died yesterday in Rabat, leaving behind a great artistic legacy.
Born in Casablanca in 1940, the actor made his debut in theater in 1962 with the play "The Old Maid", before participating in several Moroccan cinematographic works.
The deceased is famous for his participation in Moroccan television series such as "Allal the Strong", "From One House to Another" and "The Son-in-Law of Haj Azzouz".
