Veteran Moroccan Actor Abdellah Amrani Dies at 78, Leaves Legacy in Film and Theater

Sad news for Moroccan cinema with the death yesterday of Abdellah Amrani following a long illness. The actor was 78 years old.
Born in Marrakech and passionate about theater from a very young age, he had decided to join the "National Theater" troupe which already included at the time a large part of the Moroccan actors and actresses of the small screen, including Mohamed El Jem, Aziz Maouhoub, Nezha Regragui, Malika El Ammari or El-Hachmi Benamar.
Abdellah Amrani had also distinguished himself in many films and television series such as "Les amis d’hier" (1997), "Taif Nizar" (2002), "La symphonie marocaine" (2006) and "L’orange amère" (2006).
A few months ago, the actor appeared very weakened in several videos published on social networks.
