Passenger Bus Catches Fire on Moroccan Highway Near Essaouira, No Injuries Reported

A passenger transport bus coming from Agadir caught fire on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 9 a.m. precisely, on the National Road No. 1 connecting Agadir to Essaouira. No injuries were reported, only material damage.
The passengers of the bus that caught fire in the Commune of Tafedna experienced a great fright on Saturday, August 17, 2019. According to a source close to 2m.ma, the incident would have occurred following a short circuit.
Fortunately, no victims are to be deplored, except for the material damage recorded, as the passengers had time to leave the vehicle before the fire broke out.
The bus, on the other hand, was completely ravaged by the flames, reports the same source. To elucidate the circumstances of this fire, an investigation was immediately opened by the Royal Gendarmerie.
