Deadly Bus Crashes in Morocco Leave 4 Dead, Dozens Injured on Al Hoceima-Taounate Road

A bus, with about forty people on board, suddenly overturned on the morning of Thursday, August 8, 2019, on the road connecting Al Hoceima to the city of Taounate. The accident left 37 seriously injured passengers.
Having lost control of the vehicle, the driver was unable to stop the movement of the bus, which ended up in a ravine. No other vehicle was hit during the fall.
According to Tanja24, 37 seriously injured passengers were rushed to the Provincial Hospital of Taounate to receive first aid. The Royal Gendarmerie services went to the scene to begin their investigation.
A similar accident had occurred on the same road a few hours earlier, leaving four dead and about ten injured among the bus passengers.
