Oussama Idrissi, Regragui’s great forgotten (video)

The Moroccan striker of the Mexican club Pachuca, Oussama Idrissi, expressed his disappointment after not being called up by Walid Regragui for the friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania, scheduled for March 22 and 26 at the Grand Stadium of Agadir.
Oussama Idrissi was surprised not to see his name on the list of players called up for these two matches, a source close to the player told the media Al-Arabi Al-Jadid. The Moroccan international, who is currently shining in the Mexican championship, had hoped to be in Walid Regragui’s plans, who made important changes in the Moroccan team after the early elimination in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The former player of Seville and Feyenoord, who had expressed his desire to return to the national team, is very affected by this non-selection. "Oussama feels great frustration, but he will continue to work hard in order to be able to return to the Moroccan national team that he preferred to the Dutch national team," added the same source.
Oussama Idrissi will have to maintain his good club performances to convince Regragui and the technical staff to call him up for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations which will take place in Morocco. His contract with Pachuca expires in June 2025.
