Orange Alert: Severe Thunderstorms to Hit Multiple Moroccan Provinces Through Sunday

Strong thunderstorms at the orange level are expected in several provinces of the Kingdom until Sunday, according to the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN).
The cold is definitely back in Morocco. After moderate showers recorded in the afternoon and night of this Friday in the provinces of Taounate, Moulay Yakoub, Fès, Sefrou, Taza, El Hajeb, Sidi Kacem, Ifrane, Khemisset, Driouech as well as in the regions of Al Haouz, Azilal, Béni Mellal and Khénifra, the weather will also be stormy this Saturday.
Thus, during Saturday evening and until Sunday at 12 p.m., thunderstorms are expected in the provinces of Ouezzane, Chefchaouen, Taounate and Larache.
In addition, the provinces of Taounate, Moulay Yakoub, Fès, Sefrou, Taza, El Hajeb, Sidi Kacem, Ifrane, Khemisset and Driouech will experience moderate showers this Saturday.
