ONCF Subsidiaries Win Contracts for Casablanca Tramway Expansion Project

As part of the Casablanca Tramway network expansion project, the companies Infraway and SBM (Société des basaltes marocains), two subsidiaries of the ONCF group, have obtained subcontracting contracts.
For Infraway, it is the laying of tracks and track equipment and for SBM the supply of reinforced concrete sleepers for the construction of these two new tramway lines as part of a partnership with the company Casa Transport, specifies the ONCF in a press release.
The office stresses that its two subsidiaries, thanks to their know-how and their feedback on the realization of railway infrastructure projects, have been able to demonstrate their expertise in the railway field by presenting a compliant and competitive technical offer to support the major national companies carrying out the infrastructure works of the Tramway.
The awarding of this contract to the ONCF is part of the royal will, which is to make the efficient and competitive national industry the cornerstone of national industrial development and economic recovery, we can also read.
