Octogenarian Businessman Dies After Viagra Overdose in Morocco

The excessive use of viagra can cost lives. The tragic example of this octogenarian businessman is a lesson for those who, to boost their libido or seeking thrills, self-medicate and end up causing themselves harm or, at worst, dying.
This is the owner of a famous cafe in the Agdal district of Rabat. He was in the company of a young woman in her twenties when he was evacuated to the emergency room of the hospital in critical condition. His death occurred the same day. The information spread like wildfire, raising questions about this sudden death, especially since the victim was not ill. An investigation was opened by the judicial police elements who proceeded to arrest the girl and the owner of the apartment where the deceased was located.
The autopsy ordered by the Public Prosecutor’s Office revealed that the death was caused by excessive consumption of Viagra. This will allow the girl and the owner of the apartment to be cleared of the charges for murder, but not those for debauchery and the arrangement of a space for the purposes of prostitution brought against them by the police, reports the daily Al Akhbar.
The case file was transferred by the Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Rabat for lack of jurisdiction to the Court of First Instance of Rabat. The vice squad of the Wilaya of Police of Rabat brought the two accused, at the end of last week, before the Public Prosecutor at the Court of First Instance of Rabat.
