18-Year-Old Arrested for Slashing 13-Year-Old Girl Who Rejected Him in Marrakech

The facts date back to Wednesday, March 3 in the Maâta Allah neighborhood, in the Menara district of Marrakech. The spurned lover followed the middle school student after school, slashed her cheek before fleeing. The victim was taken to the emergency department at Mohammed VI Hospital to be operated on. It was only two days after the incident that the young man was arrested by the girl’s father, who then alerted the police of the 12th district, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc.

Questioned by the police, the victim stated that she had been harassed on several occasions by this teenager who had expressed his love to her. The suspect was brought before the prosecutor of the King near the court of first instance of Marrakech last Saturday.
