Nurses Arrested in Morocco for Fake COVID-19 Vaccinations Scheme

Barely has the health pass been introduced and the control of PCR tests strengthened, that some are already standing out in fictitious vaccination in Morocco. Two nurses were caught in Casablanca for their active involvement in this fraudulent practice.

The two trainee nurses were arrested by the judicial police elements of the Hay Mohammedi Aîn Sebaâ prefecture, at a Covid-19 vaccination site. They were simulating the injection of the vaccine to people who did not want to be vaccinated. It is a very organized network from the reception, registration and injection of the vaccine dose. And the same game is set up until the obtaining of the vaccination pass in exchange for a certain sum of money, reports the daily Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.

The police were alerted by the chief physician of the vaccination site who, surprised by the large influx, began his own investigation. In reality, the first people who managed to fraudulently obtain their vaccination pass spread the information. As a result, many people stormed the vaccination site to obtain their health pass without being vaccinated.

Once alerted, the police carried out surveillance that allowed them to catch the two nurses in the act. After their arrest, an investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office in order to arrest all the people involved in this case. The police do not rule out the possibility of the existence of the same network on other vaccination sites in Casablanca or elsewhere.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the fictitious vaccination network would be set up by the same people who were falsifying the results of PCR tests for the benefit of people wishing to travel abroad or between cities during the period marked by health restrictions.
