UK Recognizes Moroccan Vaccination Pass for Travel, Excluding Sinopharm

As part of the interoperability of vaccination and health passes, the United Kingdom has just accepted the Moroccan health pass, a few weeks after its recognition by the European Union.
The British authorities have decided to establish the equivalence of vaccination passes issued in Morocco with those accepted in their country. After successful technical tests, the Moroccan vaccination pass can be used to travel to the United Kingdom, according to a statement from the embassy.
The note recalls that the recognized vaccines are AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna. The Sinopharm vaccine is not validated. All people who have received the Chinese vaccine must comply with the conditions of access to the United Kingdom.
For its part, Morocco recognizes the NHS Covid Pass as certifying vaccination or recovery from Covid-19, the note points out.
