Notorious Drug Trafficker Arrested in Agadir; 32kg Cannabis Seized

Actively sought for drug trafficking, kidnapping and sequestration offenses, a repeat offender, aged 35, finally fell into the hands of the judicial police elements in Agadir.
The police carried out a search of his home and were able to seize 32 kilograms of cannabis resin as well as an amount of money estimated at 300,000 dirhams, which would come from drug trafficking. The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) explains, in a press release, that the accused was arrested on the basis of arrest warrants issued against him.
Indeed, several arrest warrants had also been issued against him by the security services of Sidi Ifni, Guelmim and Agadir, for his alleged involvement in various cases of drug trafficking, kidnapping and sequestration, indicates the MAP.
The defendant was placed in custody at the disposal of the investigation, conducted under the supervision of the competent prosecutor’s office, in order to determine all the criminal acts for which he is accused, concludes the same source.
