Moroccan Police Seize 311 kg of Cannabis in Goulmima Drug Bust

A utility vehicle loaded with 311 kilograms of kif and 25 kilograms of powdered tobacco was seized on Thursday morning by the judicial police in the city of Goulmima. The operation was made possible thanks to information provided by the services of the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST).
The Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) explains, in a press release, that the national security elements had intercepted the vehicle after its driver and his companion had abandoned it in the "Ksar Igharghar" area, about 4 kilometers from the city of Goulmima, heading to the city of Er-Rich.
It was after a thorough search that the seized drug quantities were discovered. A judicial investigation has been opened, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to identify all the persons involved in the possession and trafficking of the seized drugs and to determine any links with criminal networks.
