Newcastle opens its checkbook for Bilal El Khannouss

Loaned out to stay in the top flight, he is having a convincing season in Germany, with five direct goal involvements and three goals in the Europa League. Leicester forced to sell?

While Stuttgart has a purchase option set at €25 million, Newcastle seems determined to launch an "aggressive" offensive to recover the playmaker in 2026. Those close to the player have confirmed to TEAMtalk his desire to play at the highest English level again.

For Leicester, currently in financial and sporting difficulty in the Championship, the definitive sale of El Khannouss appears to be an inevitable outcome. The club hopes to recover at least its initial investment, between £20 and £25 million.
