Nazi Symbols Vandalize Mosque Construction Site in Charleville-Mézières, France

The daily L’Ardennais, which reports the information, mentions "Nazi symbols" that were "tagged in black paint on the wall and on the construction site barriers", adding that the offenders acted during the night.

The authorities of Charleville-Mézières strongly condemned this ignoble act. Prefect Pascal Joly, in particular, "condemned with the utmost firmness these unacceptable actions". He also assured "his full support to the Mosque Association and the Cultural Center of the Ardennes in the face of these cowardly actions".

The authorities of Charleville-Mézières reassured that an investigation is currently underway to make the perpetrators of this reprehensible act suffer the rigors of the law.
