Nayef Aguerd said no to a very high salary in Saudi Arabia

Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd would have refused to leave West Ham this summer. The player would have rejected offers from Saudi clubs.
According to journalist Santi Aouna, Nayef Aguerd received interesting offers to join the Saudi Pro League this summer, but the player declined these offers, preferring to stay at West Ham. "It is Nayef Aguerd who refused to go to [Saudi Arabia], and not the other way around," Aouna insisted on his social networks, putting an end to the rumor announcing a transfer of the Moroccan central defender to Saudi Arabia or Naples, which also expressed interest in the player.
Currently valued at 30 million pounds, Nayef Aguerd is an important player for David Moyes. Sent off against Chelsea, the Moroccan international was subsequently named in the starting lineup against Luton Town. The coach is counting on him to deliver performances in the Europa League this year. His complicity with Kurt Zouma on the pitch has allowed West Ham to remain undefeated so far this season.
