NATO and Morocco Strengthen Partnership in Defense and Security Talks

A Moroccan diplomatic mission visited the NATO headquarters on October 15 and 16, 2019, as part of strengthening the long-standing partnership between the Kingdom and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Under the supervision of the "Political Affairs and Security Policy" Division of the NATO International Secretariat, information and exchange sessions with senior officials of the Organization were initiated on a number of topics.
Among them, we must note the history of NATO’s cooperation with the countries participating in the Mediterranean Dialogue, the priority areas of cooperation between the Organization and Morocco, defense, education and, above all, the control of small arms and light weapons.
In addition, the mission exchanged with Clare Hutchinson, the Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security.
