Morocco Reduces Malnutrition Rate to 3.7%, FAO Praises Progress

Morocco’s efforts to reduce and eliminate malnutrition are recognized by Florence Roll, representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Morocco.
Now having fallen below the 4% mark, Morocco has achieved a feat. In this regard, the FAO Office has taken the opportunity to congratulate the Kingdom for "its efforts" in reducing the "malnutrition rate to 3.7%, which is less than the average recorded in middle-income countries".
It should be noted that Morocco’s merits were recognized by the institution, during an awareness-raising day organized by the International Training Center for the Environment, in Bouknadel, in partnership with the FAO Office, on the theme, "Working for the future, a healthy nutrition for a world without hunger".
