National Strike to Disrupt Flights at Brussels Airport, Morocco Routes May Be Affected

Many flights departing and arriving at Brussels Airport are expected to be canceled due to the national demonstration on Thursday, February 13 and the announced strike of a "large number" of airport handling and security personnel. Morocco could be affected by these movements.
The activity of Brussels Airport is likely to experience disruptions due to this Thursday’s demonstration. "Airlines will directly contact passengers affected by a flight cancellation or postponement," Brussels Airport said in a statement, expressing regret for "the inconvenience caused".
For the moment, the uncertainty is total as to the number of flights affected. "Currently, we do not yet know how many flights will be impacted and how many will be operated as planned. We are doing our utmost to revise our flight schedule as soon as possible. We will inform passengers of the status of their flight and, if necessary, of alternative travel options. We ask you to be patient and not to contact us for the moment, as we do not yet have any answers," explained Brussels Airlines.
Public transport services will also be affected. In any case, Brussels Airport recommends that passengers consult the SNCB and De Lijn websites for any additional information and details.
