National Strike to Disrupt Flights from Brussels Airport to Morocco and Beyond

In Belgium, flights departing from Brussels Airport, the airport of the Belgian capital Brussels, to Morocco and other countries will be disrupted due to a new national strike.
Two strike days will be observed at Brussels Airport next week. "We regret to inform you that Belgian unions are organizing a strike this Tuesday, May 20, and a demonstration this Thursday, May 22. These actions will very likely have an impact on several operational services at Brussels Airport. We are currently assessing the impact on our flight schedule," Brussels Airport announces in a statement.
Brussels Airport assures that "no flights have been canceled yet" for the moment. However, flight disruptions such as delays are expected on May 20 and 22. Brussels Airlines also estimates that at this stage, operations at Brussels Airport will not be affected. "Our flights should operate as planned. However, unforeseen disruptions remain possible. We therefore advise you to proactively check the status of your flight on our website," the airline adds.
