Two Murders Mar End of Ramadan in Moroccan Coastal Towns

Unidentified individuals are the alleged perpetrators of two murders committed in the communes of Moulay Abdallah and Oulad Rahmoune towards the end of Ramadan and on the day of the Eid Al-Fitr celebration.
The first homicide was recorded in the commune of Moulay Abdellah, where the body of a young man under 35 years old, his throat slit, was discovered on the morning of Saturday, April 30, on the seafront, behind the prefecture, reports the Arabic-language daily Assabah. The investigators do not rule out the hypothesis of a settling of scores. The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of El Jadida have not yet succeeded in arresting the perpetrator(s) of this crime, as it is difficult for them to identify the victim who did not have a national identity card. In addition, the attempt to identify him through fingerprints yielded nothing.
The second murder took place in the El Ayaycha douar in the commune of Oulad Rahmoune on Monday, May 2, Eid day. The victim is a father of two children, also under 35 years old. He died after receiving several knife wounds.
