Moulay Hicham becomes a grandfather for the first time: his grandson is named Mohammed

Prince Moulay Hicham has announced the birth of his first grandchild. His daughter Faïza and her husband Nabil Rachdi have welcomed a boy named Mohammed, in homage to the Prophet and King Mohammed VI.

The child was born on July 27, 2026, corresponding to 12 Safar 1448, at the Royal Palace of Rabat. Moulay Hicham expressed his joy in a post dedicated to this happy family event.

The prince explained that the name Mohammed had been chosen in reference to the Prophet and to pay tribute to King Mohammed VI.

A child born at the Royal Palace

Moulay Hicham wishes to remind his grandson later that his birth at the Royal Palace is a privilege that commits him to serving his country, his society and his family.
