Motorcyclist Rams Police Officer During Curfew Check in Casablanca

While trying to escape a police check, a motorcyclist hit a police officer in Casablanca. The incident occurred on Monday around 10 p.m. on Boulevard Chouaib Doukkali.
The police were checking derogatory travel certificates when a motorcyclist, after pretending to slow down, suddenly accelerated and violently collided with an officer.
After fleeing, the individual was finally caught by the police, after a brief chase through the streets of Casablanca.
The officer was taken to the hospital, while the motorcyclist was taken into custody pending his appearance in court.
