Morocco’s Ziyech Thrives Under Renard’s Influence, Teammate Amrabat Says

While he continues to impress everywhere he goes, Hakim Ziyech has just been praised by his national team teammate Nordin Amrabat who, in passing, explains that Ziyech’s evolution is partly due to national coach Hervé Renard.
Atlas Lion Nordin Amrabat has, in addressing the Dutch sports media Voetbal Primeur, declared that national coach Hervé Renard, coach of the Moroccan national team, has had a significant influence on Ajax star Hakim Ziyech.
According to Amrabat: "Renard played a pivotal role in Ziyech’s progress. He learned to make defensive efforts for the team. He owes his good form to him". For the player, Ziyech is "almost the N’Golo Kanté of Ajax". And he is "the pilot".
It should be noted that with Ajax, Hakim Ziyech was this year champion of the Netherlands, he won the Dutch Cup and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League. He even impresses political leaders like the President of the Italian Council of Ministers, Giuseppe Conte, who even asked that he be transferred to Rome.
Ziyech has, this season, scored 20 goals and provided 16 assists.
