Morocco Coach Renard Addresses Ziyech’s Performance Ahead of South Africa Match

During the pre-match press conference, Morocco-South Africa, the coach of the "Atlas Lions", Hervé Renard, commented on the case of Hakim Ziyech, whose game was very hampered during the match of the Moroccan team against Côte d’Ivoire.
"Perhaps this match, a little more physical than others, has been a little more difficult but it can happen. If we come out of a match with a positive result and a player is a little less well, one day, it is not the most important. You know we need him and I’m sure he’ll be there," the national coach replied to a journalist who questioned him about the player.
It should be noted that, during the match against the Côte d’Ivoire team, the player was replaced by Soufiane Boufal, in the last quarter of an hour of the match. Hakim Ziyech did not seem at all happy to leave the field, he who was probably expecting to break through the Ivorian defense.
Nevertheless, the Ajax Amsterdam player should, in all likelihood, make his entry this Monday, July 1, 2019, against the South African team, unless Hervé Renard prefers to rest him for the round of 16 match.
